This application is designed exclusively for use by qualified hearing professionals involved in fitting the AMP personal audio amplifier. It is essential that only trained personnel operate this tool to ensure proper fitting and patient safety.

To access the application for fitting AMP devices, users must log in with their authorized online professional account associated with Starkey, Audibel, NuEar, MicroTech, or AudioSync, using valid credentials. For practitioners who do not possess an account, assistance can be obtained by contacting 800.733.2799.

The application utilizes specific auditory tones to facilitate adjustments to the AMP devices. It is recommended that the application be used with headphones that feature foam padding similar to airline headphones, as this ensures optimal audio fidelity during programming.

Delivered pre-programmed at preset #2, the AMP devices are configured for patients with mild-to-moderate sloping hearing loss with compression activated. Professionals have the option to select from three different presets as a starting point, each corresponding to particular audiometric profiles and compression schemes.

The application allows customization of four key parameters of the AMP devices:

• Low Frequency Gain
• High Frequency Gain
• Overall Gain
• Output Level

Adjustments can be made incrementally using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ controls, which increase or decrease the selected parameter relative to the chosen preset. Following each adjustment or preset change, the device emits a confirmation tone to indicate successful implementation.
